Karl Lagerfeld is a man that needs no introduction, he is one of the most successful and innovative designers of all time.
He is the genius behind three fashion houses (Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld) and is known for his monochromatic style, sleek ponytail and dark shades.
A jack of all trades, Karl is also a talented photographer and has just launched two iconic fragrances: Karl Lagerfeld Pour Femme EDP and Karl Lagerfeld Pour Homme EDT.
Karl Lagerfeld Pour Femme EDP
A lovely floral-green fragrance that’s perfect for a warm summer’s day. It opens with zesty lime softened by velvety peach, has a feminine heart of rose, magnolia and frangipani, and a sensual dry-down of musk and amberwood. Its divine peachy scent smells good enough to eat and will suit both young and older women alike.
Karl Lagerfeld Pour Homme EDT
An aromatic-fougere (FYI: a blend of herbs, spices and wood) that smells just as intoxicating on women as it does on men (yes, I tried it!). An earthy blend of mandarin, lavender, violet and green apple on a bed of amber and sandalwood. On a side note, my friend Leigh from Lipgloss is my Life pointed out that my hunky boyfriend Jeff (pictured below) happens to look very similar to the male model for the advert, Baptiste Giabiconi. I’m taking this as a sign from the gods that he should wear the yummy fragrance every single day – no complaints here 😉
You’ll find both scents at selected department stores and prices range from R495 for 25ml, R695 for 45ml to R995 for 85ml (EDP) and R695 for 50ml to R895 for 100ml (EDT). I rate these are reasonably priced for such a coveted brand.
Thanks Uncle Karl for these fabulous fragrances, I love them
